MnSAFE Quarterly Results - Fiscal Year 2016, Quarter 1

Dear Colleagues,
MnSAFE performance metrics for the first
quarter of fiscal year 2016 (FY16) are now available. They've been shared with the Governor's Office and are available for your review online at mn.gov/mnsafe/results.html.
You
will see that as an enterprise we
have taken a step backwards with our MnSAFE efforts to reduce workplace injuries -- per the "All Agencies" row at bottom of report. The statewide incident rate climbed fourteen
percent during the first quarter of FY16 to 3.41 injuries per 100
employees. Our FY16 goal is less than 2.86 injuries per 100 employees.
In
order to get back on track, I ask that you do the following:
- review your agency's results;
- share the information within your agency; and
- take action to continuously improve workplace safety.
