WEST BLOOMFIELD, September 23, 2015 — The West
Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission (WBPRC) will host the fifth annual
“Fall Fest” on Saturday, October 3rd from 2 to 5 pm at Marshbank
Park. This free, community-wide event provides an afternoon full of fun,
fall-themed activities for the whole family.
This
year’s free activities include games, hayrides, inflatables, a petting farm,
crafts, balloon animals and more. A few additional activities including a quad bungee trampoline, pony rides and face painting will be available for purchase. Activities will be running simultaneously so families can arrive anytime between 2 and 4:30 pm to participate.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Blue Water Ramblers, a local folk
music duo. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks
including The Food Dance, Kona Ice and Mystic Kettle.
“This is
one of our favorite fall traditions here in West Bloomfield,” said Jennifer
Tucker, executive director for WBPRC. “Marshbank Park provides a beautiful fall backdrop for families to get outdoors and enjoy a wide variety of activities."
WBPRC will have limited on-site parking at Marshbank Park. Additional parking will be available at the Administration and Community Services (ACS) Building at 5810 Commerce Rd.
Fall
Fest is made possible, in part, due to our sponsors; Lederman Kwartowitz Center
