Pilot project is using iPad technology to assist Secretary of State customers

Two Secretary of State branches are piloting a new tool to better serve customers: iPads.

In order to improve customer service, the tablets have been introduced alongside the MI-TIME Line systems at the Clinton Township SUPER!Center and Flint Area SUPER!Center.

The iPads were implemented on Feb. 13 and can be used by branch staff to log customers into MI-TIME Line, look up needed documents and locate other nearby branches.

Liz Young, manager of the Flint Area SUPER!Center, says the early indications are that the iPads are a useful tool for helping customers.
