Secretary of State Mobile Office logged 25,000 miles across Michigan last year!

Set for Detroit Boat Show, Outdoorama

The Michigan Secretary of State's full-service Mobile Office, which offers nearly all of the services customers can get at their area office, was REALLY mobile last year, logging an incredible 25,000 miles as it traveled across the state. (That's actually enough to circumnavigate the earth.)

Stops included the North American International Auto Show, festivals, outdoor shows and fairs throughout the state. Next up? The Mobile Office will be at the Detroit Boat Show in Cobo Center from Feb. 15-23 and Outdoorama in Novi from Feb. 27 through March 2.

Secretary of State staff will also have a booth at the Grand Rapids Boat Show from Feb. 19-23 to provide information and services to event goers including ExpressSOS and to give them the opportunity to sign up for the department’s electronic newsletter as well as email and text reminders.

Customers love MI-TIME Line service

Customers have been enthusiastic in their praise for the new MI-TIME Line system, which allows people to get in line from home and get updates about when they're about to be called up.

"LOVE the get in line on line!!!!!!" wrote one. Another customer said, "The new text system was awesome! I was able to leave and come back when I was ready and the interactive messages made that possible."
