Secretary of State Mobile Office sets up shop at the Jackson County Fair
Full service office offers vehicle registration, other services
JACKSON, Mich. - Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today that her Mobile Office will provide services at the Jackson County Fair Sunday through Wednesday.
“The Mobile Office makes it easy for you to do business while you’re enjoying all Pure Michigan has to offer, like the Jackson County Fair,” Johnson said. “Our friendly staff will take care of your SOS needs so you can be on your way.”
The Mobile Office is a full-service branch and visitors can take care of all Secretary of State business at this event, including renewing license plate tabs, signing up to be an organ donor, and renewing driver’s licenses.
“The Jackson County Fair is pleased to have the Michigan Secretary of State Mobile Office attending this year,” said Denise Owens, operations director. “We are entering into our 160th year and last year we had 170,000 people attend. If you’d like to stop by, the Mobile Office will be located in the northeast area of the fairgrounds, next to our Dairy Association Ice Cream Parlor.”
