Operations Technician with XALT Energy

XALT Energy currently has an opening in Midland for an Operations Technician.

The Operations Technician will have responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day operation of a variety of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly equipment, including:

  • Interfacing with and controlling mechanical/electrical fabrication and assembly machinery.
  • Safely performing operational adjustments, transfer of materials, process troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Responding to process control information and adjusting/correcting process variables.
  • Setup, startup, operate and shutdown manufacturing, fabrication and assembly equipment and processes.

Additional responsibilities may include participation in improvement teams and problem solving, and working shift work, including weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of previous work experience in soldering operations, and previous manufacturing experience.

Seeking Full-Time Information Security Analyst

Lansing Community College

Lansing Community College is currently seeking a full-time Senior Information Security Analyst. responsible for the administration and monitoring of the college's information security infrastructure.

Essential duties of this position include:

  • Monitoring the security event management systems and numerous logs for issues and recommend changes to IT security controls. These include investigations of employee abuse of computer systems and monitoring of employee compliance with security policy and best practices.
  • Management of the college security devices (Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention, Web Content Filters) to facilitate business requirements and to defend against current threats.
  • Coordinating responses to information security incidents focusing on fraud and malware discovery.
  • Design, analysis, and assessment of the IT infrastructure for compliance with Federal, State and contractual requirements (e.g. FERPA, HIPAA, PCI, State Privacy Laws).

Expert knowledge in the technical aspects of computer hardware, software and network protocols are required.

Project Specialist Position Available with Lowe's

Lowe's currently has an opportunity available in Monroe for a Project Specialist-Interiors (PSI).

This position is a salary plus commission sales and design position that executes the Lowe's interior selling model. The PSI position plays the primary, customer-facing role in designing and coordinating the development of a kitchen and/or bath project that meets the needs and expectations of the client. This position also requires collaboration with the store's sales team, general contractor, production office, vendors, and Store Management to ensure "Best in Class" customer experiences, while meeting sales and margin expectations.
