Linear Motion is Seeking to Fill Multiple Opportunities

Linear Motion LLC (Thomson Aerospace ball screw company), a Meggitt company located in Saginaw, MI, designs and manufactures critical systems and components for commercial and military aircraft. The product range includes ball screws, mechanical sub-systems and electro-mechanical actuators for aircraft brake control systems, primary and secondary flight controls, missiles control actuation systems, smart munitions, naval systems and land vehicle systems.

Linear Motion is looking to fill the following opportunities:

  • Contracts Administrator:  This person will be responsible for customer contracts, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Some of the responsibilities of this role will include managing Meggitt contractual expectations as they relate to customer POs, contracts, agreements, and NDAs; owning the internal contract review process; supervise, mentor, and develop customer service group.  The ideal candidate for this position will possess advanced computer skills; 2-4 years experience in contract management; previous experience with an ERP system; excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; and previous experience with supervising direct reports.
  • Safety, Health and Environmental Manager:  This person will have a leadership role in the application of all health and safety regulations, requirements, and laws.  They will be responsible for delivering strategic goals in the areas of improvements and compliance, and will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.  The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of EPS standards; minimum of three years experience in a safety position, as well as working in a manufacturing/machining environment; demonstrated leadership ability; proficiency in OSHA Industry Standards.
  • Business Development Manager:  In this role, you will be responsible for delivering strategic sales goals while managing and growing the business with the OEM's and other customers in the assigned region; you will be the face to the customer, playing a significant role in supporting marketing strategies, as well as overseeing sales execution to capture current and future business opportunities.  The ideal candidate for this position will possess a degree in business or engineering discipline, seven years of relevant experience in technical sales, marketing, or sales application engineering; experience selling products and services to customers; demonstrated ability to form and maintain good customer relationships at all levels.
