Free eLearning Videos Help Jobseekers Assess and Develop Critical Soft Skills

Pure Michigan Talent Connect

In March of 2014, the MEDC rolled out a new eLearning Lifelong Soft Skills Program on MiTalent.org.  These videos were a result of discussions with employers about the need for soft skills training for many job seekers entering the workforce.

The goal of this Lifelong Soft Skills eLearning series is to raise awareness among jobseekers and employees about key skills needed for workplace success.  Click here to watch a quick trailer about this innovative free resource.

These 14 eLearning modules on Lifelong Soft Skills are to provide a universally accessible soft skills training resource for the Michigan workforce for basic and foundational skills for the workplace, to help ensure the workforce is ready to succeed in the 21st century. These modules address the following soft skills (click on a skill in the list below to access that specific module):

*While these modules can be completed in any order, it is recommended that the "Humility" module be completed first.  This module includes a DiSC personality profile assessment, the results of which are incorporated into all of the other modules.
