Central Area Michigan Works! Consortium to Host a Corrections Officer Job Fair December 15th

The Central Area Michigan Works! Consortium is partnering with the Michigan Department of Corrections and Montcalm Community College to host a job fair for hundreds of open correction officer positions in the state of Michigan. On December 15th, interested individuals will participate in a series of informational sessions that will be led by Michigan Works!, Michigan Department of Corrections, and Montcalm Community College. Individuals will learn about the hiring process, what requirements are needed to qualify for the position, and determine what the next step will be in order to become a correction officer.

Mid-Michigan Talent Connection provides free training to jobseekers so they can become the highest quality candidates, and to businesses so they can become more efficient and profitable. These free quarterly events are educational and networking events that are designed to stimulate effective communication about what is happening in the Greater Lansing area that may affect local business. While these events are NOT job fairs, Mid-Michigan Talent Connection has received reports of many positions being filled through connections made at these events.
