A rapidly expanding company located in the New Center neighborhood of Detroit is recruiting Artisans. Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, inspect and adjust products

  • Responsible for daily maintenance of tools and machines

  • Inspect products before and after processing and reject defectives parts according to the quality requirements

  • Maintain timely communication with the production, line assembly supervisor or line leader

  • Read and understand and follow all standard operating procedures for the stations and/or directions required for each assignment

  • Participate actively in the resolution of problems and process improvements

  • Responsible to achieve daily production at the required quality levels

  • Other responsibilities will be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in manufacturing (leather, textile, electronics or medical industry)
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

  • IT Manager, Level 14 - This position functions as a first line manager in a complex work area. It supervises the activities of Information Technology staff, both FTE and contract, that are involved in the development of highly complex and sensitive computer applications in a volatile environment. The Data Warehouse (DW) Team is responsible for all aspects of requirements definition, ETL development, and BI development in the context of DHS Benefits / Eligibility/ Services data. The DW team has responsibility for supporting reporting and analysis around various program areas.

  • State Budget Office Section Manager – Medicaid, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse - The position serves as division leader within the State Budget Office and performs senior-level budget analysis for the Department of Community Health budget in the areas of Medicaid, Mental Health and substance abuse. The position coordinates and directs the work of budget analysts within the office in presenting recommendations to the office director, Deputy State Budget Director, the State Budget Director, and the Governor relating to the development and presentation of the annual Executive Budget. The position also directs staff activities to implement the budget upon enactment.

  • Education Assessment Specialist, Level 15 - This position functions as the Online Assessment Specialist serving the Office of Systems and Integration (OSI) for the Division of Accountability Services (DAS) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). This position is solely responsible for overseeing the design, development, documentation, integration, enhancement, management, and maintenance of the online assessment system programs and processes.

  • Dentist - Provide dental services to prisoners at assigned Correctional Facilities and other Northern Region dental clinics as assigned. These dental services include diagnosis, operative, surgical, periodontics, endodontic and prosthetic treatment.

SRI International Seeking Sales Specialist for Early Phase Clinical Trial Services

SRI’s Biosciences Division is seeking a Sales Specialist with a successful record of identifying and closing new business opportunities for Early Phase Clinical Trial Services. SRI Biosciences has opened a new purpose-built Phase I Clinic in the Southeast Michigan Life Sciences Corridor which will provide innovative drug development services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to support R&D programs entering Phase I human clinical trials. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in a relevant science (biology, chemistry, medical sciences, etc.) desirable, plus a minimum of 7 years of sales experience in contract research organization with a good understanding of SRI’s biosciences market.  (Prior experience selling early phase clinical services is highly desirable.)

  • In-depth knowledge of the drug development process, and/or regulatory-driven clinical translation services is important, as are recent broad, deep, and high-level industry contacts and relationships.
