Weekend Construction 04/25-04/28/14

The following construction activities are scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday, April 25, and ending Monday, April 28. Work may be weather dependent. Always check for construction updates at Michigan.gov/drive, for changes, delays, cancellations, or new construction work that may be added after this submission.

I-75:

In Oakland County, north and south I-75 at Livernois Road there will be alternating single and double-lane closures on Saturday from 8am to 4pm for road works.

I-94:

In Wayne County, east I-94 from Livernois to M-10 there will be a moving left lane closure on Saturday from 8am to 12pm for freeway lighting work.

In Wayne County, east I-94 at John R there will be a right lane closure on Saturday from 8am to 6pm for roadwork.

M-10 (John Lodge Freeway):

In Wayne County, north M-10 from I-75 to I-94, the two left lanes will be closed nightly on Saturday and Sunday from 8pm to 5am for road works. All ramps will remain open.

M-39(Southfield Freeway):

In Wayne County, south M-39 near Fenkell Road / M-5 Exit 12, there will be a daily single-lane closure on Saturday to Monday 6am to 5pm for roadwork.

M-1 (Woodward Avenue):

In Oakland County north M-1 (Woodward Avenue) from Oakridge to Lincoln Avenue, the right two lanes will be closed daily on Saturday to Monday from 7am to 5pm for roadwork.

Local:

In Oakland County, west Lincoln Street from Laurel Street to M-1 (Woodward Avenue) the westbound thru lane will be closed on Saturday thru Sunday from 6am to 6pm for road works.

In Oakland County, west Evergreen Road over M-10 will be closed and detoured and east Evergreen Road will be reduced to one lane on Sunday from 8am to 6pm for roadwork.

In Oakland County, east Grand River Avenue between Halsted and Gill Street the right lane will be closed on Saturday thru Sunday from 4am to 6pm daily for roadwork.

Beginning the week of Monday, April 28:

I-75:

In Oakland County, north I-75 from Big Beaver Road to Square Lake Road, there will be nightly closures of the left two lanes beginning Monday and continuing thru Thursday from 8pm to 5am.

M-10 (John Lodge Freeway):

In Wayne County, north M-10 from I-75 to I-94 the left two lanes will be closed daily beginning Tuesday and continuing thru Friday from 9am to 5pm for road work. All ramps will remain open.

M-102 ( 8 mile road):

In Wayne County, west M-102 (8 Mile Road) from M-97 (Groesbeck Avenue) to M-1 (Woodward Avenue) there will be a moving single-lane closure on Saturday from 6am to 5pm for sign work at major intersections.

In Wayne County, east M-102 (8 Mile Road) from Wyoming Road to Mound Road there will be a moving single-lane closure on Saturday from 6am to 5pm for sign works at major intersections.

M-3 (Gratiot Avenue):

In Macomb County, north M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) from Church Street to Robertson Street, the road will be will be closed on Saturday from 6am to 2pm for a race and a marathon.

M-39 (Southfield Road):

In Wayne County, north and south M-39 between Allen Road and Porter Street there will be a daily double lane closure beginning Monday and continuing thru the following Monday from 9am to 3pm for utility work.

M-53:

In Macomb County, north M-53 over the Clinton River and over 19 Mile Road there will be daily intermittent single-lane closures beginning Monday thru Tuesday 8am to 2pm for bridge work

Local:

In Oakland County, east and west I-696 Service Drive from Dequindre Road to M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) there will be daily intermittent lane closures beginning Monday and continuing thru the following Sunday from 9am to 3pm for utility work.

In Wayne County, east Grand River Avenue at Chicago Boulevard there will be a daily right lane closure until Wednesday from 9am to 4pm for road work.
