It’s time to cut the ribbon for #M231, opens to traffic Friday, Oct. 30
WHAT: Ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the new M-231 route in the heart of Ottawa County. M-231 connects the townships of Crockery and Robinson with the sixth-longest bridge in the state of Michigan, and just the fourth crossing of the Grand River in the county.

WHEN: Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 11 a.m. to noon
WHERE: On M-231 over the north bank of the Grand River M-231 from M-104 Nunica

BACKGROUND: M-231 is 7 miles long and connects M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive) in Robinson Township to M-104/I-96 in Crockery Township. The two-lane route provides a much-needed additional crossing of the Grand River and will alleviate congestion in Ottawa County, consistently one of the fastest growing counties in Michigan.
