Spencer Road over I-96 in Brighton to close Monday, June 15, for 40 days

I-96 at Spencer Road (Livingston County)
On Monday, June 15, Spencer Road over I-96 will close for approximately 40 days for construction. A detour will be posted when the bridge is closed.
In addition, the two park and ride lots off Spencer Road, just north of I-96, are epxected to close on Thursday, June 11.
Both the park and ride lots and the Spencer Road bridge are expectedd to reopen by the end of July.
Construction is part of a larger project at I-96 and US-23 to improve safety and traffic flow at the interchange.
