Work Plan for BP1-2019

The work plan for LHDs and tribal health partners is nearing completion. For this first year of a new cooperative agreement cycle, DEPR is creating one document addressing all sub-awardees: LHDs and tribal health partners. The work plan will have activities required by all sub-awardees, those applicable to tribal health partners, and those that apply to LHDs and CRI-funded LHDs. Version 1 of the new work plan will be out the week of July 1. All sub-awardees will have until July 31 to review the plan and submit the required signature page.

BP1-Supplemental End of Year Progress Report

The BP1-S end of year progress reporting tool will available no later than July 1 and must be completed by July 31.  There are no significant changes from the previous year’s EOY progress report.  On (or before) July 1, the tool will be accessible at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BP1S_EOY

Pandemic All Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act Signed into Law

On June 25, 2019, President Trump signed the Pandemic All Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act (PAHPAI) into law. DEPR obtained a copy of the new law and is beginning its review to determine any impacts on the PHEP program and the work plan. Once the review is complete, DEPR will share what was learned with LHDs and tribal health partners. This may or may not necessitate revisions to the work plan for sub-awardees.
