Hepatitis A Sitrep
The next hepatitis A conference call for all LHDs will take place on January 24 at 1:00 pm (EST). The agenda will be posted on the MIHAN.
The BP1-S mid-year progress report for LHDs is comprised of a survey monkey reporting tool, which can be accessed at online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BP1SMidYr. A PDF of the questions contained in the survey monkey is linked below for reference only. The progress report must be submitted via survey monkey by February 6, 2019.

Note to tribal health partners: This progress reporting tool is for local health departments only. Tribal health partners should have received a separate reporting tool directly from Mary Macqueen. If the tribal health mid-year progress report tool was not received, or there are questions about the progress report, contact Mary Macqueen at MacqueenM@michigan.gov.
EPCs that have questions about the LHD mid-year progress report should contact their DEPR point of contact.
The CDC requires state and local health departments to maintain current hazard vulnerability assessment data. In BP1-S, local health departments have been asked to complete and submit the ASPR-developed HVA tool no later than Friday, March 29th. To assist in troubleshooting this tool, DEPR will host two technical assistance sessions via Adobe Connect. Each session will provide an informal setting for users to navigate the HVA tool, as well as address any challenges or questions that have arisen. These optional sessions will cover the same content, following a structure that is determined by those in attendance.

Feedback from the 2018 24/7 contact drill conducted in December of 2018 will be emailed to each EPC no later than January 14, 2019. Following receipt of that feedback, if there are any questions or concerns, contact Jim Koval.
Save the date for the 19th Annual Michigan Communicable Disease Conference presented by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Communicable Disease Division. The conference will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the DoubleTree-Riverfront Hotel in Bay City, MI.
A limited-enrollment, pre-conference Interviewing Techniques and Outbreaks Workshop will be held the day before on Wednesday, April 17th. Registration for the Workshop and Conference will be distributed in the coming months.
The January EPC call will be held on January 10, 2019, at 1:30 pm. Attached is the EPC Call Agenda.
