The DEQ has updated the Baseline Environmental Assessment (BEA) and Due Care Guides to reflect recent changes to the law. The BEA guide provides useful information to help new or prospective property owners or operators understand this liability protection tool when purchasing contaminated property.

 

The Due Care Guide provides owners and operators of environmentally contaminated property with information regarding their obligations to ensure that properties are used safely.
