First Day of My Second Term

This has been a big week for the County Council! Yesterday, I had the profound honor of being sworn in to serve on the 20^th Montgomery County Council, the largest and most diverse in our County’s history. Along with my returning colleagues Evan Glass, Gabe Albornoz, Will Jawando, and Sidney Katz, we welcomed our newest members – Marilyn Balcombe, Natali Fani-González, Kristin Mink, Laurie-Anne Sayles, and Kate Stewart – six exceptionally talented women who bring a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to serve our County.

I am honored to serve the village that raised me for a second term and humbled to have been elected unanimously by my colleagues as Vice President of the County Council this year. A hearty congratulations to Evan Glass who will be serving as President. I look forward to serving alongside him to represent our 1.1 million residents.
