Leggett Hosts Youth Forum to Encourage
Conversation about Racial and Social Justice

Silver Spring Civic Building
One Veterans Place
Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will host a youth forum with local high school and middle school students to hear their thoughts and concerns about how young people become disconnected from their community.
The conversation is being used as a tool to challenge students to identify and discuss the increasing number of hurdles young people face that sow the seeds for disengagement, apathy, and socially destructive behavior.
