Statement from Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake Regarding the Baltimore Ravens Winning the Super Bowl
 

BALTIMORE, MD. (FEBRUARY 3, 2013)-"The Baltimore Ravens once again demonstrated strength, poise, and perseverance as they prevailed in Super Bowl XLVII. On behalf of the people of Baltimore, I want to congratulate Steve Bisciotti, Ozzie Newsome, Coach John Harbaugh and the players for bringing another Lombardi Trophy to our great city."


Mayor Rawlings-Blake and Police Commissioner Anthony Batts encourage Ravens fans to celebrate responsibly.  Tonight, hundreds of additional police officers are patrolling the city to ensure a safe environment. In the coming hours, Mayor Rawlings-Blake and the Baltimore Ravens will issue a joint media release outlining specific celebration plans for next week.
