The newest residential permit parking area will launch February 1, 2021 in the neighborhood of Riverside.
No physical permits will be distributed in this area. Residents will still need to apply for a permit to exempt them from posted parking restrictions and avoid citations. The new system will be 100% online. A virtual permit, which uses a vehicle's license plate number, will serve as the new parking credential.
If you live on one of the following blocks, you will be able to apply for a permit beginning January 4, 2021.

You must upload the required documentation to get your permits. We will review your documents and email you if additional information is required.
If your application is approved, your vehicle will be exempt from the following parking restrictions set to go into effect on February 1, 2021.
“NO PARKING/ 11 PM ‐ 7 AM MONDAY‐SUNDAY/ EXCEPT WITH AREA 48 PERMIT // 2 HOUR PARKING
LIMIT / 5 PM ‐ 11 PM, MONDAY – SATURDAY / 1 PM – 11 PM SUNDAY / EXCEPT WITH AREA 48
PERMIT /// TOW AWAY ZONE DURING STADIUM EVENTS”
Please take a picture of your driver’s license and vehicle registration before visiting the site. It will need to be uploaded to complete your registration.
Because this area is launching during the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the required documents are different than what is normally required. Be aware that next year, more documentation will be required.
What you will need to provide for a permit:
- Any Photo ID
-
Current Vehicle Registration
3. One form of Proof of Residency, such as:
-
Current Lease signed by all parties that is not month-to-month. Month-to-month leases require residents to come to the PABC office each month to renew permit. Month-to-month or automatic renewal leases require additional documentation. Verbal confirmation is unacceptable. Customers showing a lease as proof of residency are still subject to relevant laws limiting the number of permits that may be issued to a residence. Please bring a copy of your lease that clearly identifies all persons residing in the dwelling unit or you may be denied permits.
-
Sub-lease agreements that are not signed by the landlord must be accompanied by the original signed lease.
-
Proof of home ownership (settlement papers)
-
Current driver’s license that reflects your current address
-
Utility bill in your name, reflecting current address, that is no less than 30 days old
Required Documents for Business Owners
Non-commercial vehicles used by business owners are eligible for permits.
- Articles of incorporation identifying owner and business
- Current vehicle registration
Permits are $20 each payable by credit card.
