NOPD LOOKING FOR VEHICLE OF INTEREST IN DECEMBER 2015 MURDER

Vehicle of interest


NEW ORLEANS--The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle of interest, and the driver of the vehicle, who may critical information in the murder of 26-year-old Christoper Watson. The incident happened December 25, 2015 in the 300 block of North Broad Street.

At approximately 9:50 p.m., police responded to a call of a male shot.  When officers arrived, they found the victim shot multiple times to the body inside of a vehicle. Watson was pronounced dead on the scene. 


Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified a vehicle of interest described as a dark-colored car travelling at a high rate of speed from North Broad Street to Orleans Avenue, where it turned toward on North Galvez Street.

Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call Crimestoppers
