Daytime closures on US 60 at Salt Lick

Description: US 60 will be closed weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 through approximately Aug. 12, weather permitting, to correct a landslide along Salt Lick Creek. Closure will be just to the Owingsville side of the KY 211 south intersection at Salt Lick.

The highway will reopen overnight each weekday, and be open all day Saturday and Sunday. During closure times, thru traffic should detour using I-64 between Exit 123 at US 60 Owingsville and Exit 133 at KY 801, which will take traffic to and from US 60. For local traffic, the roadway will remain open up to either side of the work site. To reach Salt Lick, and KY 211 south, motorists should detour through Olympia from the west (Owingsville) side or through Farmers from the east side.
