This center is dedicated to providing dental and medical care for children covered by Medicaid. The University of Louisville is a partner in this medical facility.

Cemex Offers Tire Amnesty Program

Cemex is proud to host a Tire Amnesty program is designed to provide the community the opportunity to dispose of whole, un-rimmed, discarded tires. Discarded tire deliveries, up to 49 at a time, must be called in to Laura Osterhoudt at (502) 935-7331 extension 378 at least 3 days prior to delivery. Only whole, unbroken, tires meeting size restrictions below can be accepted:

  • Size:
    (a) Width – inches - Min 7, Max 11
    (b) Diameter – inches - Min 18, Max 31
    (c) Weight – pounds – Min 15, Max 40
    (d) No rims accepted
    (e) Whole unbroken tires
  • A = between 7"  y  11"  /  B = 18" and 31"

40 Nights of Lights!

A nightly light show set to music on 4th Street. Along the corridor, tree and street lights will be synchronized with the main music and light shows at Fourth Street Live and the Galt House Hotel. The nightly spectacle also includes light projections on buildings along 4th Street. Light Up Louisville will have two drop off centers for new, unwrapped toys to be distributed as a Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. For further details visit www.louisvilleky.gov
