Ford/UAW Celebrates 100th Ramp
Thanks to UAW/Ford for providing free labor in partnership with Metro Council, Center for Accessible Living and Metro United Way to build ramps for many of our area’s disabled or elderly citizens. Other supporters of this project and I were pleased to gather with members of United Automobile Workers Local Number 862 and others yesterday to celebrate the 100th Ramp built by UAW/Ford Ramp Team! UAW/Ford participates in this effort to help give citizens the accessibility to get out of their homes to work, volunteer and be productive in our community as a part of their initiative to be great community partners!
