Celebrating Our Freedom Together

rv fest collage

Southwest Louisville was proud to host the fabulous Riverview Independence Festival this past Saturday. More than 8,000 people came together to celebrate the freedom we enjoy. I was pleased to work with other council members and area corporate partners to showcase our area and congratulate and thank all who worked so hard to make this happen.

As you celebrate Independence Day this Friday, please remember the commitment, hard work and sacrifice throughout our nation's history that have made our freedom possible. This 4th of July, be safe and be mindful of all that we as Americans enjoy.

** ALL LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES CLOSED FRIDAY, 4TH OF JULY, INCLUDING D13 DOWNTOWN & FAIRDALE OFFICES **
