Our April 12th Brightside Cleanup in District 13 couldn't have gone any better! An incredible group of 67 volunteers from the community, South Park Country Club, and Passport Health Plan came out Saturday morning to clean up throughout Fairdale. Many thanks to this wonderful group, and to Fairdale Pic Pac for providing snacks and juice for everyone!

Do you have an aging parent or relative you'd like to help? Want to learn about issues our community seniors face? EdlerServe's Friendly Visitor programs offer free, one-hour sessions to lots of useful topics. Two upcoming sessions held at Metro United Way (334 E. Broadway) are:

 Free Legal Clinic for Veterans
The Legal Aid Society invites you to a free Legal Clinic for Veterans, Thursday, May 15th, 1:00 p.m. Attorneys will be on hand to help veterans who have a need to:
- Modify their child support obligations to reflect their current income
- Establish satisfactory payment plans for arrearages
