Southwest Council Members organizing this years Community Clean-up!

Join Councilwoman Cindi Fowler, Councilman Rick Blackwell, and Councilman David Yates for the annual Brightside Spring Clean-up!

This event provides an opportunity for individuals and groups to help make a difference in our community by cleaning up our streets and neighborhoods, making Southwest Louisville a better place to live and visit. 

This is a great chance for church/school groups and sports teams to give back to the community through service and every minute volunteered goes towards our service goals as part of the Mayor's "Give-A-Day" Week of Service.

Participants can sign-in at Valley High School on Saturday, April 12th beginning at 8:30 a.m. Staff from the Southwest Council offices will be available to provide supplies, such as trash bags and gloves, as well as help direct the efforts where they're most needed.

WHEN: Saturday, April 12; Sign-in at 8:30a, Clean-up from 9a to Noon
