The Lawn Care for Cleaner Air is a rebate program open to residents of Jefferson County to promote cleaner air and environmental responsibility by offering cash incentives to replace older, more polluting lawn equipment with newer, cleaner models. To participate you must provide a copy of your proof of residency (i.e. your driver’s license) to the participating dealer when purchasing new equipment or to APCD when submitting your mail-in rebate request.
There are two ways to receive your rebate when you purchase new equipment...
-
Through a participating dealer. Participating dealers give the rebates up front, as dollars off of the purchase price. This is the fastest way to get a lawn care rebate!
-
Individually. If you are purchasing your eligible equipment at a non-participating dealer, use this Rebate Request Form to request a Bonus or Standard Rebate. If your rebate request meets all the requirements, you should receive your rebate within 60 days.
The following recycling centers will also accept trade-in equipment...

For several years, the organization Concerns of Police Survivors has been encouraging citizens to fly blue ribbons from their car antennas during National Police Week. This year from May 11 through May 17, the sight of many throughout our community flying blue ribbons would be a tremendous show of support for our fallen officers and those still working the streets.
We encourage agencies, survivors and supporters to "Fly the Blue" this year during National Police Week. Click here to order your free ribbons today.
