We are excited to share this improved resource and we thank our current Start Fresh! providers -- Apprisen, Louisville Urban League, and Louisville Metro CSR -- and our Financial Education Committee members and supporters for moving us towards this final product. Stay tuned in the coming months for how we will continue to make Start Fresh! an even more valuable resource in the community.

Financial education spotlight

Since July 2013, Bank On Louisville partner and Louisville Metro Government direct deposit partner Fifth Third Bank has been providing monthly "lunch and learn" workshops to Metro employees. To date, they have engaged over 140 individuals in classes around savings, budgeting, retirement planning, and more.

This month, Fifth Third extended their reach by providing workshops open not only to Metro employees, but also to employees of Jefferson County Public Schools, Kentucky Dept. of Community Based Services, and the clients and community of Neighborhood Place locations. We thank Fifth Third for their commitment to building a financially-empowered workplace!
