Louisville Independent Business Alliance Survey

“The South End has extreme cultural diversity. With UofL a hop away, the business district is growing and could benefit from many different small businesses. It’s a regular topic among our neighborhood associations, most commonly the want for a microbrewery/restaurant. Possibilities are endless in the South End!"    -Cindy Venture, Owner of Beechmont Bombshells

LIBA (Louisville Independent Business Alliance) is working with the City of Louisville to support and grow independent businesses in South Louisville, and we want to hear from you about the businesses you want in your neighborhoods.

Independent businesses are owned by Louisville-area residents and are unique to our city (ie. not a chain).  They contribute to the distinctive character of our neighborhoods and keep more dollars circulating within our community. Some examples include places like: Heine Brothers’ Coffee, Stock Yards Bank, Khalil’s, LeLe’s Boutique, Wild and Woolly Video, etc.

Please take a minute to take the South Louisville survey. This will help gather info about the types of businesses residents want to see in their neighborhoods.
