Bank On Louisville is joining the Metro VAPStat initiative in educating our community about ways we can prevent property vacancy and abandonment in our community through better estate planning. Bank On Louisville celebrates our third anniversary!

On Wednesday, August 14, representatives from local financial institutions, non-profit agencies, and community partners gathered at the Mayor's Gallery to celebrate the third anniversary of Bank On Louisville. Guests and supporters spoke about Bank On's achievements in our community, including opening 3.493 accounts and reaching 1,963 individuals through financial education in 2013. Financial Empowerment Center now open at 810 Barret

CSR's Financial Empowerment and Economic Development (FEeD) team has teamed up with several Family Economic Success Network partners to offer free, one-on-one financial and legal counseling appointments at our Financial Empowerment Center. Everyone is welcome to receive help from experts at the Legal Aid Society, Apprisen, and the Louisville Urban League on issues such as debt, budgeting, credit, fraud, foreclosure, bankruptcy, rental and homeownership readiness, and more.

Staff trainings available through Legal Aid Society

Case workers and agency staff are invited to attend a series of trainings with the Legal Aid Society of Louisville. The purpose of these trainings is to educate frontline staff on how to identify and talk about clients' legal issues and then make appropriate referrals to address them. Each training will focus a different legal issue your clients may face.

All trainings will take place in the Air Pollution Control District Board Room at 850 Barret Ave.
