Greetings,
This
issue is dedicated to National
Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). DVAM evolved from the "Day of Unity" held in October 1981 and conceived by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. To support local domestic violence prevention efforts, we are highlighting several
events sponsored by the Center for Women and Families in recognition
of Domestic Violence Awareness month:

Center for Women and Families will be sending resources, offering
mini-trainings, and encouraging OBGYN offices and health clinics to screen
every patient for one week out of the month. If you know of a medical
provider that may be interested in getting involved, please click here.
