Members may begin to sign up Friday for two years of ID theft protection and credit monitoring

The State Personnel Department is in constant contact with Anthem to provide updated information to employees last week's information breach. Anthem has secured a vendor to provide identity protection services to current and former members whose information was included in the database that was compromised. 

Starting Friday, Feb. 13, member can visit AnthemFacts.com to learn how to enroll in two years of free credit monitoring and identity theft repair services provided by the vendor - a leading and trusted identity protection provider. Members can access these services prior to receiving a mailed notification from Anthem, which will be sent in the coming weeks.

The free identity protection services provided by the company include two years of identity repair assistance, credit monitoring, child identity protection, identity theft insurance, identity theft monitoring/fraud detection and phone alerts.
