Registration is open for Come Together: Arts Boards, Staff & Community Engagement. This one-day conference, August 8, 2014, will take place on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.
The conference is designed to help arts organizations and their leadership boards become stronger and more effective in their role of developing and maintaining successful community partnership opportunities.

Communities interested in applying for Cultural District certification may now begin the certification process with the Indiana Arts Commission.
The first step in the application process is a letter of intent which must be submitted to the IAC and postmarked no later than August 28, 2014.
The deadline to complete the application process is 4:30 p.m. October 2, 2014.

More than 26- community-based arts providers throughout Indiana will receive grants from the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) for Fiscal Year 2015.
At its June 20th Quarterly Meeting in Indianapolis, the Commission reviewed and accepted funding recommendations for Arts Operating Support: AOS-I; AOS-II; AOS-III (formerly Major Arts Organizations); Arts Project Support (APS); Regional Arts Partner Block Grants to sub-grantees; and Regional Arts Partner Operating Support grants.
The Commission also approved 38 career development grants to Hoosier artists through the IAC's Individual Artist Program.
