A request for Volunteers at the Indy Free Tree Event from Bob Eddleman

"As many of you Tree Stewards know the Indianapolis Power and Light Company, Hoosier Heartland Resource Conservation and Development Council, Woody Warehouse Nursery and others sponsor Indy Free Tree each Arbor Day.  The objective is the provide education and information about trees and to increase the Tree Canopy in Central Indiana.  To do this we give away 1000 container grown trees and set up and staff educational tables on the Circle in Downtown Indianapolis at 10:00 AM until  about 1:30 PM on Arbor Day (April 25 this year).  Tree Stewards and other volunteers are needed to help with this project.

There are two times you could be of help.  On Friday during the event and on Thursday, April 24 at 3:30 PM at Woody Warehouse Nursery just west of Lizton.  At that time we will be bagging and loading the trees on a truck which will arrive Downtown on Friday Morning. "
