Nearly 300 community-based arts providers throughout the state will receive grants for Fiscal Year 2014 from the Indiana Arts Commission.

At its June 21st Quarterly Business Meeting in Indianapolis, the Commission reviewed and accepted funding recommendations for Arts Operating Support (AOS-I; AOS-II; AOS-III formerly Major Arts Organizations); Art Project Support (APS); Statewide Arts Service Organizations; Regional Arts Partner Block Grants to sub-grantees; and Regional Arts Partner Operating Support grants.

The Commission approved grant allocations totaling just over $2.91 million in state and federal funding for grants and programs provided by arts organizations and cultural providers throughout the state.

The Arts Commission also approved career development grants for 39 individual artists.

A complete list of the FY 2014 grants can be found on the IAC website at: www.in.gov/arts/2337.htm.
