ICRC, Indianapolis Indians Held Fourth Successful Civil Rights Night
Civil Rights NightThe Indiana Civil Rights Commission was, once again, proud to partner with the Indianapolis Indians to bring the Annual Civil Rights Night to Victory Field. The Annual Civil Rights Night celebrates history and the progressive movement of all people towards equal rights in the spirit of America’s pastime. Kings Feast 2k15Approximately 100 teen males came out to the Indiana Government Center South on Saturday, August 1, 2015 to gain life changing information that will serve to motivate them and mold them into tomorrow’s leaders. Statewide Continuing Legal Education Program Heads to Muncie

The Indiana Civil Rights Commission is hosting their 2015 Statewide Continuing Legal Education Program to celebrate more than 50 years of service to Hoosiers. The series, which includes 12 seminars throughout the state, provides legal professionals with low cost Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit! ICRC Issues Findings Against The Woods of Eagle Creek

Complainant began her tenancy with Respondent on or about October 5, 2007.   At all times relevant to the Complaint, Complainant’s lease required residents to take reasonable measures to prevent and cure pest infestations including but not limited to those caused by bed bugs. While Complainant was aware of these provisions, she was unwilling to continue her tenancy in accordance with Respondent’s reasonable terms and conditions... more

Charges Issued Against Gene B. Glick Company, Brookview Apartments
Complainant and Respondent entered into a lease agreement on or about October 1, 2013 for a one year term to expire on or about September 30, 2014.  At all times relevant to the Complaint, the lease provided that residents shall comply with all reasonable rules and/or regulations including but not limited to those related to the safety, care, cleanliness, and quiet enjoyment of the property... more

ICRC Finds Probable Cause Against Lasain Corporation, Super Submarine Restaurant
Complainant was employed as a part-time employee at Respondent’s restaurant.  At all times relevant to the Complaint, Respondent lacked an employee handbook, sexual harassment policy, or disciplinary policy.  During the course of Complainant’s tenure with Respondent, evidence suggests that Complainant was subjected to sexually explicit comments and actions... more
