IL-The Canadian Pacific Railroad will close the railroad crossing on Russell Road,
Lake County Route A-1, for necessary repairs. The closure of the crossing will
begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 13. Russell Road will reopen to thru traffic
by 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
Detour route: Kilbourne Road, to Illinois Route 173 to US Route 41. Local traffic will be allowed from Kilbourne
Road to the crossing, and from the crossing to Old Skokie Highway.
