Noyes Cultural Arts Center Welcomes Black History Month Exhibit

Join in celebrating Black History Month at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center by exploring the new art exhibition, “A Family’s Journey Home: Narrative and Visual Expressions,” which will be on display in the Second Floor Gallery now through Friday, March 6.

Long-time Evanston resident and artist Jevoid Simmons has meticulously traced his family history from the beginning of the early 20th century in Alabama. The paintings, which accompany a narrative, depict provocative events that tell the story of "A Family’s Journey Home."  More >>>
