Thank you again to all who attended our recent Penny Park Renovation Project public meeting. At the meeting, community members were given the opportunity to view the initial playground design schematic and 3-dimensional rendering, and submit their comments and questions. We also heard from Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services Joe McRae and Leathers & Associates Project Manager Kyle Cundy, who discussed the playground budget, process, fundraising, design options and next steps. Notes and presentations from the December 11 public meeting are now available on the project website >>>
I look forward to continuing to work together as a community to make Penny Park a safe, accessible and magical place to play for the next generation. Please stay tuned to this newsletter and the Penny Park webpage for future public meeting dates and opportunities to get involved.
