In Summer 2015, Valli Produce will open a 70,000 square-foot supermarket in Evanston Plaza, located at Dempster Street and Dodge Avenue, in the space formerly occupied by Dominick’s. Community members who are interested in seeing what’s in store for Evanston are invited to take a tour of Valli Produce’s Glendale Heights store with Valli Produce executives and do a bit of shopping.

Free tours will be held on Tuesday, December 9 and Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Valli Produce's Glendale Heights store. On Tuesdays, seniors receive a 10% discount on their purchases.

The City of Evanston will provide free transportation to and from the Glendale Heights location. To attend, on the selected dates, meet at either Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., or the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave. The City bus will leave at approximately 10 a.m. and return shortly after 1 p.m.
