Fourth of July Parade, Fireworks and Activities!

Independence Day

The Evanston Fourth of July Association has planned a terrific Independence Day celebration for Friday, July 4. Activities include playground games, indoor roller skating, tennis tournament finals, a Kids Fun Run, and of course the award-winning parade and fireworks.

Please note: Due to major construction at Dawes Park and the fireworks safety zone, seating and viewing space will be very limited in Dawes Park. Lakefront visitors are encouraged to listen to the concert and view the fireworks from other locations this year.
