It may not feel like winter, but we're ready for it! Plan your winter fun with us. Don't forget to sign-up for winter break camps.
Mayor Hagerty's Holiday Food, Book and Toy Drive
To ensure every Evanston family gets to celebrate this holiday season, Mayor Stephen Hagerty is encouraging all community members to participate in the 12th annual Mayor's Holiday Food, Book and Toy Drive.
Through Friday, December 11, the City is collecting new, unwrapped toys in addition to staple food items for holiday meals, including stuffing, green beans, yams, mac and cheese, corn and corn bread mix. The City is also collecting new and gently used children's books. Find donation locations and drop-off hours. For more information, please call/text 847-448-4311.
Letters to Santa
Santa's going to be busy these next few weeks! Remember to drop off your Santa Letter on or before Monday, December 14 at the North Pole mailbox outside of the Chandler-Newberger Community Center (1028 Central St.) or in the office at the Robert Crown Community Center (1801 Main St.). As we work on delivering your letters to Santa this season, please make sure you include your return address in case it gets lost in the mail.
