Parks and trails remain open
Evanston parks and trails remain open for exercise during the Governor's Stay at Home Order. Residents can use these spaces, but should practice social distancing, maintaining a distance of at least six feet from others. View additional recommendations on the National Recreation and Park Association's (NRPA) website.
Playgrounds are closed to the public
In order to ensure the health and safety of all residents and limit the spread of COVID-19, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, and other park facilities are closed to the public.
Additional youth food distribution date
Youth who did not receive a meal distribution on Monday can pick up free cold breakfasts and lunches on Wed., March 25, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Meals will be distributed for the remaining three days of the week.
