Still Time to Register for Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading in Full Swing! Join the 3770 kids, teens and adults who are reading and earning prizes this summer. Register by July 21 to complete 30 days of reading and be eligible for every prize, including a brand new book. Prize raffles every week too! Stop in to register or go to epl.org/summerreading

Robert Crown Groundbreaking: July 13

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Robert Crown Community Center, Ice Complex & Library will take place this Friday, July 13 at 4 p.m. at 1701 Main St., EvanstonJoin us to  celebrate the launch of this dynamic, new, shared resource where all families can learn, play, and grow for generations to come.The event is free and open to the public.

Now Accepting Book Donations

Accepting book donations

Books are the best but sometimes even the best book needs to find a new home. Want to donate books for reuse or recycling? Just deposit your books in the big, green, Better World Books bin which is now available outside the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Avenue, for convenient 24-hour outdoor drop-off of book donations on the east side of the Library.
