Evanston Named 2018 National Parks & Recreation Gold Medal Finalist

The City's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department has been named a finalist for the National Gold Medal Awards for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management for the second consecutive year! The honor was announced by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).

We're Out Walking (WOW) Kicks Off Saturday!

Get active this summer with We're Out Walking (WOW)! The 12-week health and fitness program kicks off this Sat., May 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at ETHS. WOW participants will enjoy group walks, health and fitness classes, and much more!

69th Annual Evanston Garden Fair 5/18-19

The Highland Garden Club and Lincolnwood Garden Club will host a combined plant sale this Fri., May 18 and Sat., May 19, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Independence Park. Proceeds support beautification projects in Evanston.
