Fire Department Strategic Plan Community Meetings

The Evanston Fire Department will be reviewing and updating its “Strategic Plan 2015-2020” and is soliciting input from the community as part of that process. Because it has been almost three years since the plan was created, the original Strategic Plan has been updated to include a 2017 progress report on the original goals.

Community meetings will be held:

  • Tues., Oct. 17, 7 p.m., Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.
  • Sat., Nov. 4, 9 a.m., Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church St.
  • Wed., Nov. 15, 7 p.m., Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St.

The Plan is posted online at cityofevanston.org/fireplan. Printed versions are
available at Fire Headquarters, 909 Lake St., and at all fire stations.

An online survey will be available through November 15, 2017 at
cityofevanston.org/firesurvey2017. Community meetings to discuss the plan with Fire Department leadership will provide the Department with indispensable feedback relative to the plan’s established goals and objectives as well as a better understanding of community expectations.

For more information, please call/text 847-448- 4311. For convenience, you may dial
311 directly while in Evanston.
