Startups Wanted: Present Your Business at Our Next Startup Showcase November 17

Evanston Entrepreneur Participates in MIT Startup Bootcamp

Jennifer Arrington Breen just returned from the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Cambridge, MA where she pitched her startup Karma Trik www.karmatrik.net. The one-week bootcamp was open to anyone who first completed the free MIT MOOC “Entrepreneurship 101”. Thousands applied, 280 were interviewed, and 61 were accepted. Twelve teams formed and each chose one idea to start and pitch at the end of the week. Among her teammates ideas, Jenny’s was chosen to develop and she now is positioned to take Karma Trik to the next level. She left MIT with new friends from across the globe and a support team to consult. She will be presenting Karma Trik at the next Evanston Edge Startup Showcase.
