The Iowa Department of Revenue (IDR)
is pleased to announce for the first time, registration for software vendors
who support the electronic Iowa W-2 Wage Statements and/or 1099 Information
Return file formats.
Register with
IDR for the 2017 tax season by completing the 2017 IA W-2 1099 e-File Vendor
Registration Form by November 1, 2017. Find the form and instructions on our website.
Upon receipt of
your completed letter of intent, the Department will send you a confirmation
email with further instructions.
Also, the
Electronic Reporting of Wage Statements and Information Returns 44-082,
outlining technical file specifications has been updated for tax year 2017.
