make sure their employees are up-to-date with best practices on how to protect
sensitive data.
Confidential - unauthorized
disclosure, compromise or destruction would directly or indirectly
have a major adverse impact on GovDelivery, its customers or employees.
Proprietary - loss,
corruption or unauthorized disclosure does not necessarily result in
any business, financial or legal loss, but which considers critical
to its business operations.
Public - does
not expose GovDelivery to financial loss, embarrassment,
or jeopardize the security of Company assets.
Pages 12-13 in this Information Classification and Handling Standards
document explicitly state the proper ways to handle each of the
